Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a 5000 year old system of medicine developed by
the Chinese, which is now used along with Western medicine to
form the integrated health care system that exists today.
By stimulating specific acupuncture points on the body with hair
fine stainless steel needles, the flow of qi is brought to a
state of balance. When this qi balance is restored, the
body is better equipped in fighting disease and maintaining
health. Commonly treated ailments include headache,
fibromyalgia, infertility, menstrual disorders, tennis elbow,
low back pain, muscle pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, asthma,
anxiety, depression, chemotherapy nausea and vomiting, stroke
rehabilitation, and insomnia.
